Claude and ChatGPT include some memory on their free plans. Google has not published a free or paid split for Gemini's memory.

Each assistant keeps its memory in its own account, so what you tell one is not automatically known to the others.

What should I check before I rely on a free plan?

Free plans differ in what happens at the limit and what you can take with you. Before you rely on one, check:

• What happens when you hit the limit: does the app stop, or does it start charging?
• Whether you can export everything, and in what format.
• Where your data is stored.
• Whether an AI key or usage is billed separately.
• What happens to your data if you stop using the app.
