What we use, what we do not.

One cookie in this list is set on your device by our hosting, not by this site's own code. Analytics settings does not control it. The rest of the list is browser storage that this site writes itself, not cookies. Two further hosting cookies are listed separately below.

• __cf_bm. Set by Cloudflare, which sits in front of our hosting and filters automated traffic. It lasts 30 minutes, is HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=None, and is scoped to our own domain. We cannot read it from the page and it is not used to identify you or to track you across sites.
• tsr-scroll-restoration-v1_3. An entry in sessionStorage written by the site's router. It remembers your scroll position so the back button returns you to where you were. It holds page positions and nothing else, and it is discarded when you close the tab.
• aitwin-analytics-optout. A small entry in localStorage, set only if you turn analytics off in Analytics settings. It is the only record of that choice; without it we cannot remember you opted out.
• aitwin-lang-banner-dismissed. A small entry in localStorage that remembers you closed the language banner at the top of the page. Set only if you dismiss it, and used only to stop the banner from reappearing.
• aitwin-language-vote. A small entry in localStorage, set only if you send us a language preference from the languages page. It stops the form from reappearing on your next visit.
• aitwin.guides.assistantTab. A small entry in localStorage that remembers which assistant tab you last viewed in the guides, so the guide opens on your choice. It holds a short label and nothing else.
• aitwin.guides.sevenDayProgress. A small entry in localStorage that remembers which items you have ticked on the first-seven-days checklist, so your progress is kept between visits. It holds a list of ticked items and nothing else.
• transformers-cache. A Cache Storage entry created only if you run the recall demo on our homepage. It holds the six files the demo needs to run on your device: four files for a small open embedding model (Xenova/all-MiniLM-L6-v2) and two runtime files that let it execute in your browser. Together they come to about 37MB. They are kept so the demo does not download them again on your next visit. Nothing in this cache identifies you, and nothing you type into the demo is stored in it. Clearing this site's storage in your browser removes it.
• Supabase auth session. If we ever add sign-in to this site, a first-party localStorage key holds your session token. It is not populated today because there is no sign-in surface here.

None of the browser storage entries above is shared with anyone. None identifies you. All are cleared if you clear your browser storage for this site. Strictly necessary storage does not require consent under UK PECR, but we list it for transparency.

We measured this by loading www.ai-twin.co.uk in a fresh browser and reading every cookie it held afterwards. If that changes, this list changes with it.

Two more cookies are set on your device by our hosting provider, not by this site's own code. Analytics settings does not control them.

• __dpl. Set by our hosting provider. We are confirming what it does and will update this page. It lasts 24 hours, is Secure and SameSite=Lax, and is scoped to our own domain.
• session-id. Set by our hosting's visit counting, a script our hosting adds to every page. It holds a random visit identifier so page views in one visit are counted together. It lasts 30 minutes, is Secure, uses the browser's default SameSite=Lax, and is scoped to our own domain.

We use Plausible Analytics to understand which pages people read and which of a few buttons they press. Plausible is a privacy-friendly analytics provider based in the European Union. It sets no cookies, writes nothing to your device, and does not identify individual visitors. It uses aggregate, hashed signals that reset daily. UK PECR governs storing or accessing information on your device. Plausible does neither, so no consent banner is required for it and we do not show one. If you would rather not be counted at all, open Analytics settings in the footer and turn it off. Your choice is remembered in a small entry on your device, listed above. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, profiling cookies, or cross-site tracking. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar.

Our hosting platform also counts page views as part of serving this site, using the session-id cookie listed above. It is listed under application hosting on our sub-processors page.

Open Analytics settings in the footer at any time to turn analytics off or back on. You can also clear your choice by clearing your browser storage for this site.

Most browsers also let you block all cookies, accept only first-party cookies, or clear stored data on close. Blocking strictly necessary storage will cause the language banner to reappear on every visit, but the site will still work.

We update this page when we add or remove any technology that fits into one of the categories above. The last-updated date at the top reflects the most recent change. We will not add new tracking silently.
