How long we keep things
The retention schedule, in one table.

The schedule

| Your memory, after you close your account | Soft-deleted immediately, permanently anonymised within 30 days | Anonymised, and not recoverable |
| Operational backups | 30 days | They roll off automatically. A restore never brings back memory you asked us to erase. |
| Your audit log | For as long as your account is open | Anonymised with the rest of your data when you close your account |
| Account and billing records | Six years from the end of the relevant tax year | Deleted. We are required by law to keep these. |
| Newsletter subscription | Until you unsubscribe | Deleted |
| Form and support messages | 24 months | Deleted |
| Rate-limiting hash of your IP address | 24 hours | Deleted |
| Website analytics | Aggregate only, nothing that identifies you | No retention period applies |
