In December 2025, Rewind AI was acquired by Meta. The Rewind product is being sunset, with users notified that data deletion would begin in 2026.

Limitless (formerly Rewind’s hardware partner direction) restricted access in the EU and UK over privacy concerns and regulatory uncertainty.

For UK users who relied on either product, the answer is no longer either of them. The category of “AI that remembers things for you” is still real. The specific products that were the obvious answer for it are no longer the answer.

This page is for the people who saw the value in those products and are now looking for what comes next. We are not the same product. We are a different product in the same problem space. Here is the honest comparison.

AI Twin is not an always-on screen recorder. We do not capture everything you see on your screen.

AI Twin is not a wearable device. There is no hardware to buy.

AI Twin is not a meeting-capture-by-default service. Conversation capture is opt-in per session.

AI Twin is not US-hosted. The product is built in the UK, with EU data residency on the underlying processors.

AI Twin is not free. We charge £18 per user per month so that we never need to sell your data or train models on it to make money.

If you used Rewind or Limitless specifically for always-on screen recording, AI Twin is not a like-for-like replacement. If you used them because you wanted memory of important things across your work and life with the option to retrieve it later, AI Twin is closer to what you were after.

AI Twin captures memory when you tell it to, structures it as typed entities (People, Documents, Facts, Events), and surfaces it through whichever AI assistant you reach for.

Forward an email to your Magic Inbox address. The email becomes structured memory. Snap a photo of a receipt. The receipt becomes a Fact. Capture a conversation when you want to. The conversation becomes an Episode.

You build memory deliberately. Not by default. Not always. Not silently. Then your AI assistants can use it when you ask them to.

If you exported transcripts, notes, or capture logs from Rewind, Limitless, or any other memory product before deprecation, drop them into the Universal Input when AI Twin launches. We will structure them as typed memory and you keep going from where you left off.

If you did not export, start fresh. The product is designed to build useful memory quickly. Most users have a usable working memory layer within two weeks.
