Limitless left. Your memory shouldn’t have to.

Rewind AI rebranded to Limitless in 2024. On 5 December 2025, Meta announced it had acquired Limitless, and the team joined Meta’s wearables organisation.

The Rewind desktop app was sunset. Screen and audio capture was switched off on 19 December 2025, and users in the affected regions were given until that date to export their data before deletion.

On the same day, Limitless ended its service in the UK, the European Union, and five other regions. Limitless described this only as an update to regional availability. It has not been restored.

This page is for the people who saw the value in those products and are now looking for what comes next. We are not the same product. We are a different product in the same problem space. Here is the honest comparison.

If you used Rewind or Limitless specifically for always-on screen recording, AI Twin is not a like-for-like replacement. If you used them because you wanted memory of important things across your work and life with the option to retrieve it later, AI Twin is closer to what you were after.

AI Twin captures memory when you tell it to, structures it as typed entities (People, Documents, Facts, Events), and surfaces it through whichever AI assistant you reach for.

Forward an email to your Magic Inbox address. The email becomes structured memory. Snap a photo of a receipt. The receipt becomes a Fact. Capture a conversation when you want to. It becomes typed memory you can search.

You build memory deliberately. Not by default. Not always. Not silently. Then your AI assistants can use it when you ask them to.

If you exported transcripts, notes, or capture logs from Rewind, Limitless, or any other memory product before deprecation, drop them into the Universal Input when AI Twin launches. We will structure them as typed memory and you keep going from where you left off.

If you did not export, start fresh. AI Twin is designed so a useful memory layer builds within the first two weeks.
