Can I import my Rewind or Limitless data?

Not directly. If your export includes text files or transcripts, you can add them as documents and ask about them in plain language.

Does AI Twin record anything in the background?

No. AI Twin does not record your screen or your surroundings. What comes in, from anything you add or connect, waits in Pending Review until you confirm it.

Where is my data held?

Your memory and files are stored in the United Kingdom. AI inference, speech to text and email are processed in the European Union. Every category of provider we use, with its region and agreement status, is listed on our sub-processors page.

Can I keep my own copy?

Yes. Export is available at any time, so you can keep a full copy of what your Twin holds, in standard formats.

Moving on from Rewind and Limitless

Moving on from Rewind or Limitless.

In December 2025, Limitless, the company formerly called Rewind, said it had been acquired by Meta, that Rewind would stop recording, and that its service would end in the UK and EU. Here is what was announced, what to do with your data, and a different way to keep what matters.

What happened.

5 December 2025Limitless announced it had been acquired by Meta. It said it would stop selling the Pendant to new customers, and that its service would no longer be available in the UK, the EU and several other countries.
19 December 2025Limitless said an update would switch off Rewind's screen and audio capture from this date. Reports at the time said users in the UK and EU had until this date to export their data.
Pendant ownersLimitless said it would continue to support existing Pendant customers for at least another year. For the current position, check Limitless's own notices.

What to do with your data now.

You exported before 19 December

Keep the original file somewhere safe. If it contains text files or transcripts, you can add them to AI Twin as documents and ask about them in plain language.

You still use a Pendant

Check what your account lets you export today, while support continues. Do not wait for an end date to be announced.

You are in the UK or EU and did not export

Reports at the time said data not exported by 19 December 2025 would be deleted. AI Twin cannot recover data from Rewind or Limitless.
