What AI Twin does today

Every line on this page is something a person can do in AI Twin today. What is not available is listed at the end and on the roadmap.

AI Twin is a personal AI memory layer, built in the UK. It keeps what matters to you as typed, searchable memory stored in the UK. You can export it at any time.

Capture

The Universal Input sits wherever you add things. Type, speak, attach a file or paste a link. The capture screen also offers these ways in:

• Photo: a photo of a letter is a letter.
• Voice note: record it and confirm the transcript. English today; other languages on the roadmap.
• Upload: documents and PDFs.
• Email it in: forward any email to your own inbox address.
• Fill a card: policies, documents, things you own.
• Paste text: notes, a message, a long email.

Exports of your past conversations from other assistants arrive in your review queue. You choose what to keep. WhatsApp chat exports and social data exports work the same way, as files you bring.

Pending Review

Every capture waits in Pending Review. You confirm it, correct it or drop it. Nothing is saved until you confirm. When your Twin spots the same person twice or two facts that disagree, it brings them to you. You choose: combine them, keep both or keep the newer one.

Typed memory, with its source

Every memory entity carries a category: People, Documents, Facts, Events and Episodes, with further types beneath them. Each one is editable and versioned.

Open any entry to see where it came from, what it holds and what has happened to it. When something stops being true, mark it. The earlier version is kept with its date.

Sensitivity tiers

Every entity is tagged LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH or CRITICAL. With an outside assistant: LOW and MEDIUM memory can leave by default. HIGH leaves only with your per-destination opt-in. CRITICAL never leaves.

Finding it again

Search covers the workspace you are in, by meaning and by exact words. Searching across workspaces asks you first. Keyword search is English-tuned today; per-language tuning on the roadmap.

Chat answers from your memory. A Brief from your memory is there whenever you ask for one. Every chat reply and every Brief carries an AI label.

Preparing, not acting

Smart Forms give each kind of entry a structured place to go in. Fields arrive filled in. You confirm or correct them.

Style

Style captures how you like things written, never who you are.

Everyday surfaces

• People map: a map of the people in your life, drawn only from what you confirmed.
• See your memory your way: by room, by person, on a timeline or all at once.
• Cards: the records you look for most, such as policies, documents and things you own. Each one is live from memory, not a copy.
• A question a day: one short question. Your answer becomes memory once you confirm it.
• Companies House lookup: start from your company number. You confirm each field as the record comes in.

Workspaces

Everyone has a Personal Workspace. A Practice workspace sits alongside it, kept apart. People you share with see only what you allow.

Your Twin in other AI tools

Assistants that support MCP connectors can reach your Twin once you connect them, one at a time. That includes Claude. ChatGPT works on a paid plan with developer mode switched on. They search your memory and your key dates within the sharing level you allow.

Trust and control

• Captures wait for your confirmation.
• Every consequential read and write lands in an audit log you can see.
• Export everything you hold, on demand.
• Deleting your account soft-deletes your data immediately and permanently anonymises it within 30 days.
• Your memory and files are stored in the United Kingdom. AI inference, speech to text and email are processed in the European Union.
• Your content is not used to train AI models. Our model providers' terms do not allow it.
• Built to UK GDPR and EU AI Act standards.
• An independent penetration test is planned and has not yet taken place. The trust page will give the date when it has.

Languages

The app's screens come in UK English and 12 more languages. Translations other than English have not had a native review yet. Documents can be in any language. Search by meaning works across more than 100 languages. Chat works in major languages.

• Smart Tasks (Daily Brief, Catch-up on the week, Tidy my memory): switched off for now.
• Workspace Skills: not dated.
• Clip from the web (Chrome extension): not dated.
• Share from your phone: not dated.
• Connecting WhatsApp: switched off for now. WhatsApp chat exports you bring as a file are live.
• Connected mailbox, calendar and contacts: switched off for now.
