AI Twin is live

Gary Dhanda, founder. 13 October 2026

AI Twin launched on Monday 12 October 2026.

People carry too much.

Names, dates, what was agreed, where the policy number is, what a client said last spring. Most of us hold it in our heads, in old emails and in notes we never find again.

Then AI tools started to remember a little about us. A little in one app, a little in another. None of it ours. Switch tools and you start again.

I built AI Twin so that memory belongs to the person it is about. I wrote about that choice here: Why I built AI Twin as a memory layer.

What it is

AI Twin is a memory you own.

You tell it things. Type a note, photograph a letter, record a voice note, upload a file or email it in.

Nothing is saved until you confirm it. Every capture waits in Pending Review until you say yes.

Every entry is typed. A person is held as a person, a date as a date, a document as a document. That is what lets it find the right thing later.

Every entry keeps its source: where it came from, when and what has happened to it since.

When something stops being true, you say so. The old version is kept with its date.

It is stored in the UK. Every consequential read and write lands in an audit log you can see.

You can export all of it at any time.

The model is rented. The memory is owned.

AI Twin uses large language models to search and prepare. Those models change. Better ones arrive. Your memory should not have to start again each time.

So the memory stays in one place, typed and yours. You can change the model without losing it.

Assistants that support MCP connectors can reach it once you connect them, one at a time. That includes Claude. ChatGPT works on a paid plan with developer mode switched on. They see only the tiers you allow.

What it does not do

It does not save anything on its own.

It does not record you. There is no always-on capture.

It does not guess how you feel.

It does not sell your data. Your content is not used to train AI models. Our model providers' terms do not allow it.

It does not make leaving hard. Export is always on. Deleting your account soft-deletes your data immediately and permanently anonymises it within 30 days.

What is not built yet

Some of it is not built yet. The app says so on the screen.

You cannot clip from the web with a browser extension yet. You cannot share into AI Twin from your phone's share button yet. Connecting WhatsApp, your mailbox, your calendar and your contacts is switched off for now.

What is live, what is not and what is open today sit on one public page: roadmap. Every Friday it gets a line saying what changed.

Who it is for first

People who use more than one AI tool and are tired of starting again.

Small practices who need a shared working memory with clear limits on who sees what.

Everything is free for the first 7 days. No card needed. Add one when you decide to stay.

The first part

This is the first part of something larger. I will write about that when the memory has earned it.

If you try it, tell me what is wrong with it. I read every message.

Gary
