Can I use ChatGPT memory in Europe?
OpenAI publishes no country list for memory. Its release notes name the EEA, Switzerland and the UK for other features, such as Computer History for Pro on 20 August 2026, but no memory entry names them.

What if I want memory that does not wait for a rollout?
AI Twin is live. Nothing is saved until you confirm. Duplicates and conflicts come to you to decide. Your memory is stored in the UK.
Export any time. Closing your account gives you seven days to change your mind, then erases your memories, workspaces and account. Voice recordings and the raw text of voice notes are not yet removed with them, and we are changing that. Your export is emailed to you first, and you get a receipt.
